Former Chelsea and Birmingham City agent sbobet defender Mario Melchiot insists a refusal to give Darren Moore the chance to manage West Bromwich Albion would be ‘criminal’.
The ex-Netherlands full back has been impressed with Moore’s work since taking over from Alan Pardew.
Moore has won three and drawn two of his five matches in charge and was named April Manager of Month earlier this week.
The search for a permanent manager is very much under way - but in his blog Melchiot says the club already has the right candidate.
West Bromwich Albion fans have been braced for relegation from the Premier League for some time.
But the knockout blow still hurt when it was delivered in midweek, particularly as the Darren Moore revival kept a glimmer of hope flickering.
Most fans have reacted with defiance, insisting they will support the club for evermore and backing them to bounce back next season.
But it all proved too much for one Baggie who took to social media to share his pain in a heartbroken message.
Former Albion manager Alan Pardew is in the running with the bookmakers to be the next manager of Swansea City.
Following Huddersfield Town’s draw at Chelsea on Wednesday evening, coupled with the Swans’ defeat to Southampton the night before, means that the South Wales club are likely to be joining Albion in the Championship next term.
News broke on Thursday afternoon that Carlos Carvalhal, who replaced Paul Clement earlier this season, would be leaving after the final weekend of the season and now the Swans are on the hunt for a successor.
Albion have been relegated from the Premier League.
Albion sat on 20 points at the beginning of last month after Alan Pardew oversaw a dreadful run of nine agent sbobet successive defeats, but Darren Moore and back-room staff Jimmy Shan and Neil Cutler offered unlikely hope after an unbeaten month in April.
It was form, ironically, that saw Moore awarded the Premier League’s Manager of the Month for April.
Save for the last six weeks or so, it’s been a truly forgettable season; a miserable campaign of under-achievement from the players, poor decision making from the hierarchy and long-term suffering of the fan-base.
Albion have revealed their new season ticket pricing strategy for the 2018-19 campaign - and they include significant reductions around the stadium.
Albion are looking to mount a comeback from relegation as they prepare for their first Championship campaign since 2010.
Adult season ticket holders can save up to £70 around the ground, while in either end, the Smethwick and the Birmingham Road, prices start at £329.
The younger Baggies supporters will also be able to purchase a season ticket for only £49 - it works out at little over £2 a match.
Why it would be criminal not to give Darren Moore the West Brom job - Tom Ross
"Why are West Bromwich Albion dilly-dallying over appointing Darren Moore as the club’s new head coach?
"He has earned the opportunity, 100 per cent. Big Dave is a leader of men and that is absolutely vital in this football world where players can often be fragile.
"Any manager or coach needs his players onside, agent sbobet they have to respect him, although not necessarily like him.
